Door-Master Garage Doors Service Policies and Disclosure

FEE’S AND CHARGES:

1. Customers  are made aware and understands at time of placing a service call that a service call fee will apply in the event a technician has arrived at a customer house, unless canceled by customer prior to technician arrival at job site
2. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers no free of charge in home repair estimates
3. An emergency service call fee may apply to service call trips made on holidays, weekend, after hours, overtime, or otherwise indicated by call center
4. No refund or discounts on parts or labour once agreed on by customer
5. No refund or discounts are issued once customer had signed receipt
6. Customer must redeem any offer or coupon through service technician and must be indicated by service technician on the receipt
7. Prices may vary based on job, location, hours of service, and special offers
8. Customers are made aware a service call fee will apply in the event a technician had appeared at a customer house and determined the problem not to be warranted
9. Deposit must be made on all orders and balance must be paid upon completion of job

APPOINTMENT AND SCHEDULE:

1. An $85.00 reschedule fee may apply on new door installation if customer not home or job site is not ready for install
2. If customer not home after 2 attempts for a warranty a service call charge may apply
3. If customer not home after 2 attempts to finish work order a service call charge may apply

ORDERS AND CANCELATION:

1. New door purchase may not be canceled if order was placed and the delivery by the manufacturer cannot be stopped
2. Customer may not make changes to any order placed including date if the order and date cannot be changed by DoorMaster Garage Doors
3. Customer may not place an order on hold past 2 month of the original install date indicated by DoorMaster Garage Doors
4. Customer may lose deposit or a fee may be incurred for any or all of the above reasons
5. DoorMaster Garage Doors will perform work according to estimate given to customer

 PAYMENTS:

1. Late payment charge and interest may apply to any overdue amounts
2. DoorMaster Garage Doors accepts no personal checks and no company checks issued for a residential job site
3. We accept M.C, VISA, DEBIT, CASH, COMPANY CHECKS for commercial job site

WARRANTY:
NEW RESIDENTIAL DOORS:

1. Most of new doors installed b DoorMaster Garage Doors comes with lifetime manufacture warranty on finish (please refer to manufactures web site for exact warranty terms on finish of your door model).  The manufacture will supply the customer with replacement panels in case of fading, chipping of paint or rust
2. ALL new doors installed by DoorMaster Garage Doors comes with 3 year hardware warranty
3. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 2 year labour warranty on all new installed garage doors

NEW COMMERCIAL DOORS:

1. 1 year warranty on door finish in case of fading, chipping of paint or rust through the manufacturer
2. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 1 year warranty on hardware
3. DoorMaster Garage Doors 1 year warranty on labour

NEW PROMASTER GARAGE DOOR RESIDENTIAL OPENERS:

1. ¾ hp Liftmaster openers comes with a lifetime warranty on motor through Chamberlain
2. ½ hp Liftmaster openers comes with lifetime or 4 year warranty on motor through Chamberlain based on model of opener
3. DoorMaster Garage Doors  offers 1 year parts and labour warranty on all new opener installed by DoorMaster
4. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 90 day parts and labour warranty on electrical components of new installed openers
5. Chamberlain may offer limited warranty on various components of the new garage door opener

CUSTMER OWN OPENER INSTALLED BY PROMASTER

1. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 90 day warranty on installation only of the opener

NEW PROMASTER GARAGE DOOR COMMERCIAL OPENERS:

1. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 1 year parts and labour warranty on all new opener installed by DoorMaster
2. The manufacturer may offer limited warranty on various components of the new garage door opener
3. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 90 day parts and labour warranty on electrical components of new installed openers

REPLACMENT PANELS (SECTIONS):

1. All new installed replacement panel comes with a 90 day parts and labour warranty through DoorMaster Garage Doors (excluding water damage to wood panel)

SERVICE WORK:

1. DoorMaster Garage Doors offers 90 day parts and labour warranty on all electrical parts
2. All mechanical work is warranted for 5 year parts and labour through DoorMaster Garage Doors except:
1. Low cycle flat rate torsion springs

1. When its indicated no warranty by the service technician
2. Otherwise indicated by the technician on the receipt

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS:

• Customer may lose any and any warranty if refused to pay service fee when applicable
• Customer may lose any and any warranty in the event additional work was redeemed by the customer through DoorMaster Garage Doors technician outside of the work receipt
• Customer must provide receipt to redeem all warranty work
• At DoorMaster Garage Doors we only warranty parts and labour done by DoorMaster Garage Doors
• Customer may lose warranty in the event others beside DoorMaster Garage Doors perform any work on the warranted parts (including other garage door company or the customer)
• No reimbursement will be paid in the event the customer chooses to have another company perform work on warranted items
• Warranty is only offered to the original purchasing customer and is not transferable
• Warranty will not cover physical damage, poor maintenance up-keep, misuse of use of features, or negligence
• No warranty is offered on holidays, after hours or weekends.  Its only offered on the next available regular appointment of the work week and hours.
• Warranties may be void if problem was caused by another part malfunction
• Power outage, electrical shortage, and lightning damage to electrical component are not covered by the warranty
